In 1999 researchers identified it as a parent of Chardonnay and Riesling and a number of other varieties.Straw colour with aromatics of lime, lemon grass and subtle notes of vanilla oat. A fresh vibrant palate with some zippy acid. Youthful. Drink now to 2035.A departure in winemaking style from early 2000 vintages. This wine was entirely fermented and aged on lees in tank, in comparison to the fermented style done previously.

A very approachable wine early in its existence that will only improve with age.
