2018 produced an intensely aromatic pinot gris. Attractive notes
of fresh pear, citrus and melon mingle pleasingly with subtle
aromas of white blossom and warm spice. On the palate, fresh
Anjou and candied pear flavours complement patisserie and ground
almond. The luscious texture and generous length is balanced by
a crisp grip to the finish.
This pinot gris can be cellared
until 2021, but is ready for immediate enjoyment.

Our Mackenzie William is named after the eldest grandson of
Trevor and Marilyn Harch. Our Eden Valley Riesling is delicately
hand-picked from our longstanding vines planted in the 1960s,
1980s, and from our cherished, deep rooted 1890s vines – thought
to be some of the oldest in Australia.
This first
Brockenchack wine, the Mackenzie William, is crafted from some
of Australia's oldest Riesling vines, planted in 1896. The 2011
vintage features lime, citrus and floral aromas. The palate
shows delicated minerality with a hint of sweetness and finishes
with a tight, crisp acidity.

Named after Johannes Hugo Bernhard (Ben) Schild 1895-1956. Four years before his death he and his family moved from the harsh Mallee region of South Australia to purchase property in Rowland Flat. His descendants now hold considerable vineyards in the Barossa Valley and this is their finest shiraz. Following open fermentation, matured in American and Hungarian oak for 17 months. Very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Perfumed nose – top note of violets, followed by blackberry and spice over ripe black cherries and ripe plum. The palate flavours are mouthfilling with explosive black pepper and ripe plum flavours over a background of spice and liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, black pepper, plum and spice.

vibrant red wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and its

birth of St Ignatius, the founder of the Society of Jesus.

The wine is marked by aromas of
