Taltarni 2011 Methode Traditionnelle Chardonnay
Region: Victoria 65%, South Australia 24%, Tasmania 11%.Taché is the French word for “Stained”. At disgorging Taltarni Taché is stained with red wine, which imparts the unique taste and elegant salmon colour Winemaker’s comments: 2011 was one of the best growing seasons for sparkling fruit Taltarni has ever experienced (Strange as I remember it being a disastrous year with huge sultry conditions and fungal disease). We had extended cool summer with moderate rainfall, but little disease, which allowed the fruit to ripen slowly on the vine. Beautiful complementary strawberry and rose petal aromatics and a balance of acidity and sweetness, which results in a truly elegant sparkling rosé.

Jacob’s Creek Classic Riesling
Highly fragrant showing intense kaffir lime with a hint of floral blossom. Taste is sweet yet persistent with floral lemon and lime flavours.

Steingarten Barossa Riesling
Named after the famous Steingarten vineyard that was first planted by Colin Gramp in 1962 on the steep rocky slopes of Eden Valley. Exhibiting delicate lemon citrus flavours, Steingarten has a dry mineral acidity achieved from grapes carefully selected from Steingarten as well as nearby Eden Valley vineyards. This classic Australian Riesling will cellar for up to 20 years.

Thorn-Clarke Sandpiper Barossa Shiraz
Distinctive ripe plum flavours are complimented by soft tannins and an appealing spiciness. A classic example of Shiraz Original Nital B&B President Jim Irvine completed his 52nd Vintage in 2002.

Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz
50^th vintage of a wine which derives its name from the picturesque Mount Chalambar south of the Seppelt winery at Great Western Victoria. Intense, spicy Grampians Shiraz is blended with richly expressive Bendigo fruit to create the definitive Victorian Shiraz, displaying an elegant depth of flavour, refined structure and long cellaring potential.

Yalumba Antique Tawny
An exceptional wine. The base wine is over 40 years old; the finished wine has an average age of 15 years. Deep sienna brown colour, with distinct green olive edges. The nose yields subtle aromas of caramel, prune and honey. The palate is rich and luscious with very nutty rancio flavours. Excellent length with a very dry finish and long lingering aftertaste of honey and caramel. A wonderful experience.
